Fellowship

The FBCSCW family enjoys the many opportunities provided them for fellowship with one another. Along with the fellowship we experience in worship and Bible study, there are other scheduled events that allow each of us to get to know one another.

WEEKLY EVENTS:

SEWING GROUP: Mondays, 9:00 AM, Christian Life Center (Oct-April)

Stuffed animals, quilts, and other items are made by the ladies who come together each week. All the items they make are donated to a home for boys, a domestic violence shelter, a migrant workers center, and a grade school. You don't need to be super in sewing. There is plenty to do and the fellowship is great!

SUNDAY NOON MEALS:

If you don't have any plans for lunch, join the crowd at the piano to see where the meeting place for lunch will be. The group goes to various nearby restaurants each Sunday for a "Dutch Treat" meal and fellowship.

The Seekers Class usually has a similar plan in place that is announced during their class each Sunday morning.

MONTHLY EVENTS:

MEN'S BREAKFAST: First Tuesday, 8:00 - 9:00 AM Christian Life Center.

The men get together the first Tuesday of each month for fellowship. Hot meals are served from October to April and a continental breakfast is offered during the months of May to September. All men are welcome to attend.

FELLOWSHIP MEALS: Be sure to check the calendar for the second Wednesday of each month. In months that no other "eating events" are planned, we gather in the Christian Life Center at 5:30 p.m. On some second Wednesdays the meal will be provided at a minimal cost, while on other second Wednesdays we will have a covered dish meal (potluck). These meals provide a great opportunity to get better acquainted with one another.

PARTNERS ON MISSION: Third Thursday, 10:00 AM, Christian Life Center (Oct-April)

Whether you have gone on mission trips, are interested in mission efforts, or are just plain curious, this is a great opportunity to learn more about what God is doing here and around the world. From time to time we have foreign missionaries here to tell us about their work. Each month we pray specifically for needs we are aware of and we hear reports of missionaries.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES:

The Bible study classes have fellowship/socials throughout the year. There are also several special events scheduled. Check the calendar for the date, time and place.
