Counseling
Dr. Hornecker is a certified counselor who brings strong credentials and significant
experience to his counseling practice. He is certified as Fellow in the American Association
of Pastoral Counselors. Counseling has been a significant part of his ministry as pastor
and educator. As early as 1967, he took part in his first clinical education experience,
followed that with three clinical training programs during the period 1975-1987, and
completed certification at the Lloyd Center Pastoral Counseling Training Program in San Francisco during 1999-2001. While there, for five years, Dr. Hornecker also served as
part of the on-call staff where he worked on a weekly basis with clients. He is certified
in the use of various personality inventoriesand their applications in counseling.
